The app opens fine and I can navigate it normally but search doesn't work at all. Within the Settings app I can't search for anything."corta" (doesn't find "Cortana & Search Settings" but Cortana itself seems to work fine) "pin" (doesn't find "Setup PIN sign-in")."profile" (doesn't find "Your account picture and profile" or "User Accounts")."print" (doesn't find any printer related apps like Devices & Printers)."windows up" (doesn't find expected Windows Update apps).Devices and Printers (which doesn't work from the Start menu) Within Control Panel itself I can search and find everything.What works and what doesn't? (These are all from the context of pressing the Windows key and typing what's in quotes below.) Search works fine for local users but when a domain user (administrator or not) logs in, search only partially works. It seems Microsoft has not solved the problem yet (which I can't help but find to be ridiculous considering there are millions upon millions of domain joined devices.)Ĭurrently, I'm trying to setup three Surface Pro 4s with Win 10 Enterprise (build 1607). This is a problem I've struggled with since the Win 8/8.1 days.
